Bad weather didn’t dampen what turned out to be a fantastic day for Sophie and Michael as they tied the knot on the first Saturday of the month. The couple were joined by family and friends at St. Peter’s Church Fremington for the wedding service. The bride looked stunning in her handmade wedding gown and both rings were made from welsh gold (Wales being the original home of the groom). Due to rain, the group shots were taken inside which provided a grand backdrop but ice cream was served from a traditional ice cream van parked outside! The reception was held at The Northcote Manor Hotel, Burrington deep in the North Devon countryside but on the way there we stopped at Queen Anne Walk in Barnstaple town centre for some photographs. Despite the weather conditions we did get outside at the Northcote Manor Hotel for some romantic shots in the grounds looking out over to the lovely view. Speeches followed the wedding breakfast, then the evening party kicked off with the first dance being played by Michael’s brother’s band!
